    29er Frame Sizing.....General Question

If I ride a size large (19" frame) on my FS 26" bike does that translate to the same thing on a 29er hardtail (19" or 20" range)? I'm just curious to hear from someone who rides both and what their experiences were.

I went from a 19" 26" to a 19" 29ner. But I would still test out the actually bike because the actual cockpit maybe different from bike to bike, depending on set up

well im 6'3 with a 34' 1/2 inseam and i personaly in most cases prefer a 19inch frame thats what im riding now, (fisher) and just put a 2011 c'dale flash 29er on layaway and its a large(19inch) also. i just like a little smaller feeling bike i can flick'em around more, its all personal likings just go and throw a leg over alot of different stuff. every bike is different.

I get the same Stand Over height ~32in between my 21.5in 26er and 19in 29er.

    I am 6"1 - my 26 inch hardtail was a 20 inch - now upgraded to a 21 inch Gary Fisher 29er. More comfortable. A 19 inch too small.
