    2017 Rocky Mountain Fusion 910 upgrade options

    Hi everybody. First time poster here. I am the proud owner of a Fusion 910 from Rocky Mountain. It's not the best bike out there but it's what I could afford at the time. I want to upgrade and have started by going to 1x9 drive train and new lock on grips and tires. Was wondering if anyone out there would have a good affordable option for upgrading my drive train to a 1x11. Here are the current specs except with a raceface 34 T narrowwide instead of 3x9. Thanks for those of you that respond with your thoughts.

    Welcome to the forum! Always great to see new people who are stoked on riding their bike.
    The fusion is a very good entry level bike to get you started on an amazing journey of riding trails.
    Going 1x9 was a good idea, if you really want to go 1x11 you can get some good deals right now on Chainreactioncycles.com.

    Last year I picked up a Shimano SLX 1x11 drivetrain for around $300 Canadian, but I'm sure there will comparable sets available. Also shop around your local classifieds and pinkbike.

    A cheap option can also be to try a different front chainring, if you need more climbing gears, maybe go down 2 teeth, or if you want to push a harder gear, maybe go up a couple teeth.

    Thanks for the reply!. Was wondering if your conversion included a crank set. My crank set is decent but square taper and i'm not a huge fan.
