    2015 Trek Fuel EX8 29 Sizing?

Hello, I'm in the market for a bike and I'm looking at a 2015 Trek Fuel EX8 29er. The particular bike is a 23" frame, and I'm not sure if it would fit me or not. I'm a little over 6' and my inseam is around 33.5", but I've heard many conflicting reports on if a 23" frame would fit. Anyone have any insight for me? Thanks

The 23" is a monster frame. With you being 6'1" (for argument sake) I would IMO try you on a 19.5" or 21.5" frame but a 23"... just from experience with those frames I wouldn't naturally go there as a frame that fits.

No way Dude, 23" frame is equivalent to what others would call XXL, made for people 6'4">, you want to be looking, as DriverBob said at either the 19.5" or 21.5" depending on your body proportions, flexibility and intended stem length and bar width.
One day your life will flash before your eyes, will it be worth watching??

Your inseam says regular to shorter torso at just over 6'. And that means a smaller bike can work. I'd look at the 19.5 first and then the 21.5.

    No way-----a 21.5 would work-----I am 6 foot with a 34.5 inseam and a 19.5 was a bit small---so 21.5 would work---but no way for the 23

Oh ok that makes a lot more sense this whole time I've been thinking that the 23 would be equivalent to just a plain XL. Bummer, the bike was a great deal, back to searching I go.
