    2015 kona lava dome

So, new here but not to forums in general. I traded my 2002 aluminum diamondback 20" race bike for a store credit of $80 and put down $100 payment for a 2015 kona lava dome 29 inch mtnb, its on layaway, be paid off in 2 months. Im new to this kind of style bike but though i know 3 piece cranks, shock n disc brakes etc.

One thing i noticed when i rode this bike is the cranks kick my feet off the pedals.
    Are the cranks changable?

Any upgrades should be done to it? Tubeless? Im totally new to tubless, in theory a flat would suck, as a tube can be patched right away. How does a tubless get patched?

It might just be the pedals? Those plastic pedals have zero grip.

Race Face Chesters are inexpensive and work great!

Tubeless, if your wheels/tires are tubeless ready GO FOR IT!

Even TL is good to carry a tube, but it will be rare, you get a flat, just not impossible.

Congrats on the new ride, and welcome!

Peeged pedals will help but the cranks stick out like buldging, u can see it in the photo. Ill look into the race face, thanks.
Im not quite sure if they are tubless or even tubless ready.

Those are pretty standard cranks. The RF Chester pedals will help keep your feet from sliding,

    Congrats on the new bike.

I looked up the bike, I doubt they are tubeless ready, although it doesn't specify.

I think you can do a ghetto tubeless set up via youtube, or something to consider for the near future.

If you want a more reliable mount for your phone, I will go with this, thing is solid! A few bucks more but worth it, and you can get 15%off if you sign up, I think!

As for the saddle, might want to give it some time, it maybe the perfect one, unless you already know what you like.

I don't think my case is compatible with this mount. I have otterbox defender for moto x pure edition which the case has grip grooves on the back.
