Well here's my pic of what's coming up for me...
Last Thursday I was diagnosed with colon cancer, Tuesday I go in for my first and hopefully only, procedure. 5-8 days in the hospital then 3-4 weeks of no activity.
April 10th is the first race of the season... I plan on being there at the Cat2 start line...
    Wish me luck !!!!

Good luck to you! Keep a positive attitude and commit to the path of recovery.

I had 18" of my upper and 1/3 of my lower colon removed in the early 2000's Was not fun by any means, , but I rode as much as I could even in various stages of weakness and it made me a better racer later on I believe. I not as full of sh!t as I once used to be ;-)

    Good Luck Toddre!

A couple from Wednesday's snow ride on the FFF (Fixed Fat Front). No, the wheels aren't 29", but the frame is! Oh, and sorry for the crappy Iphone pictures, couldn't find the camera as I was running out the door.

Toddre, at 39 I became one of the youngest men to be diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer. By the time I hit 41 (May this year), I will have hopefully knocked off three goals. Be cancer free, ride a 50 miler, and do a 6 hour solo race. The solo is March 13th. I already took care of the other two beotches! Not being able to ride at all is the worst punishment and best motivation. Cancer sucks, so kick its ass!

Good luck Toddre! I hate to say it but it makes me feel good about the disc degeneration at c 4 and 5 I've been diagnosed with since it appears that a series of epidurals will eliminate the pain and numbness in my left arm.

Cool-blue Rhythm A bit late Caribbean Photo Friday edition

First up, just want to say good luck to Toddre, hope all goes well for you.

Thought since all I'm seeing is snow pics, some nice sunny, dry trail pics might warm things up Been trying to do some trail clearing/repairs and actually managed to get 2 trails done this week, took my 4 legged friend along for support and he totally enjoyed himself. Enjoy the pics.
