Upgrades for 2017 Giant Stance 2

I am upgrading a few things on my 2017 Stance 2 and have a few questions for all you smart MTB folks.
    1. Will the sport tracker disc hubs accept an 11 speed cassette?
    2. Can I fit a 180mm disc on the rear? I installed SLX disc brakes on the bike.
    3. When I convert the front cranks to a Shimano SLX without replacing the stock FSA press fit bottom bracket or should I replace it with a Shimano press fit. Also, do I need spacers to ensure the sprocket is centered with the rear hub?
Thank you for any assistance with this.

The hub should fit 11 speed without issue.

Yes you can install a 180 rotor on the back. Just get the appropriate caliper adapter.

Get the Shimano press fit. It will guarantee a proper fit. All spacers required should come with the crank set. Make sure to follow all directions to the letter.

Sweet, thank you for the reply. I am going to start the upgrade after the new year once I get back home. No spacers came with the cranks but it looks like the FSA cranks have a spacer. Am I wrong for thinking the chainring should be somewhat centered with the rear cassette? Thanks again for the reply. John

Shimano Hollow Tech II and FSA Mega Exo both use a 24mm Crank Spindle. Should be able to switch those out without replacing the Bottom Bracket(BB).

Find out exactly which BB is in the Stance. Or measure both ends to make sure they are 24mm.

That helps a lot, Thank you. I have been reading everything I could and read where someone had used the FSA press fit. I don't want to change it out unless I have to just because I have not purchased a puller or press to do the job correctly. Happy Trails and Happy New Year. John
