    Swapping to Rigid fork

    Hi all,

I'm about to pull the trigger on buying a rigid fork, but thought I'd post it here to see what you guys think of it.

I wanted to convert my old bike to gravel/commute bike - https://www.cannondale.com/en/USA/Bi...3-8519aa522e0f.

Obviously the fork is junk, so I'm planning to switch that suntour with Salsa FIrestarter fork (https://salsacycles.com/components/c...restarter_fork).

Any thought on this? I can hardly find the correct A to C measurement on this Suntour Fork but my rough measurement is in the 500mm ish. I take it the firestarter 483mm A to C would work just fine right?

Yeah, 483 A-C is correct. Should work great.

Stop asking how much it weighs and just go ride it.

A Surly Krampus fork will work as well. I have a new, installed but never ridden one for cheap if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer. My firestarter fork is already on the way.
