Specialized Enduro (Fox Float x2) - Water bottle help

I was wondering if there was solution to this. This is the Lezyne side mount with a 22oz.

    Camelbak?

I have a very different bike with the same problem.

Yeah, a hydration pack might be the only solution and I do have one, but apparently I don't take enough electrolytes when I ride so I was going to try to have a water bottle for this.

Plus, on short 10 mile rides I was hoping to just run a water bottle.

    Looking into kids bottles.

Can't do much due to the piggyback chamber from your shock

Contact Gravity Guerrilla, they have used a cage that will let you slide the bottle lower.
I got some bad ideas in my head.

I cut a piece of aluminum flat stock long enough to move the cage down a bit. Cut the 3/4" wide piece long enough to drill three equally spaced holes on the strip. Hint: Use the cage to lay out the holes, mark he center hole first then move the cage up and down the strip to mark the others. Use the top hole to mount to the bike, the center hole to mount the cage and the strip to the bike and use a rivet or short nut and bolt to secure the cage to the strip on the bottom........or just try one of these:

    Thanks

I came across one of these Wolf Tooth Components B-RAD 2 Base Mount for about $17, so I'll give this a try and see how it goes.

Here why I did to fit a 20 oz bottle in my front triangle. Not enduro but you can probably get away with the same setup

Ok, the wolf tooth b-rad 2 didn't work because of the downtube and the BB, so I thought i'd try the the WT b-rad half bottle with dogbone.

The 22oz bottle fits and fully engages the cage, with a very slight rub on the float x2 piggyback, but a 20oz bottle should fix this.

Now the only issue I might have it the bottle sticking out the side of the frame. I'll give this a few rides to see how this goes.

I've been on a few rides, and I don't even know the bottle there. This works for me, hope this helps someone out there.

Took a second look and the bottle doesn't even touch the x2 piggyback

Hey guys, I know this is off topic but just lookin for some direction or possibly someone who has some info. Anyways, I have a 2016 medium enduro comp and just received a 2018 specialized float x2 and just want to make sure they are compatible. I canít seem to find much info on the subject and what I do find isnít too clear as far as not contacting the frame. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks!
