    SixFifty Tomah

I searched for this frame in the threads but didn't find much. Anyone here own one of these frames or see one in the wild?

The geometry speaks to me and the price is right, just wondering if anyone had any feedback on them.

    Thanks!

They have an ebay store with a better price. Sorry, that's all I know.

yeah, I actually just ordered a frame from their ebay store. I'll post an update/review when the build is done.

Plus they come from a shop with a decent reputation. Sixfifty is part of wheel & sprocket in Wisconsin.

I'm building one up now. Should have it done mid week. Now if the snow would just go away I'd be able to ride.

I wish they's change the name. Every time I see it I think of South Park

Yeah, I'm not crazy about the name, and its far from pretty -I'm not a huge fan of raw frames (except for ti), plus the typefaces don't work that well together. But it's got interesting geometry and the price was right.

I'll post up a review once I actually get to ride it some.

Yeah. It's a short TT, and I'm a tall rider (6'5"). But I rode bmx for a while before I switched over to big wheels and since then have always ridden smaller MTB frames than most riders my height. The 21" frame has a 69 degree HT too. And with that short TT its definitely a change in geometry from any XC frame I've had, but I'm looking forward to it. If I need to lengthen the cockpit I'll just throw a longer stem on.

Since this thread has no pictures yet, here is my bike I just assembled. I love the Tomah frame! It's very well made, and the geometry fits me perfectly.

The wheels in the picture are 29ers with CX tires, 40mm on the rear has plenty of clearance.

Also check out the Shimano XT 10 speed derailleur with SRAM X9 9 speed shifter. Indexed perfectly together!

Lots of clearance for some fat 26" tires...
