New 650b Frames - Definitive Cycles, Down Under

    Howdy,

Thought id share the first pics of our 650b Sample frames. I say Samples, as we are gearing up for a production run of at least 100 frames.

We are based in Aus, and are hoping to be able to get a distributor in the states to pick them up when we get the production done.

A few features are Double butted Cro-Mo, Sliding dropouts, good tyre clearance, Hopefully good pricing, and they will be available as Frame Only. Colours of the samples prob wont be the final colours that we will use.

Ill get em built, and tested and keep you all updated, also follow our blog at https://definitivecycles.blogspot.com

G'day Stu, nice to see you are getting those frames out onto the market. They look pretty good, too..

Those Velocity Blunt rims and Pacenti tires you supplied to me for the Ibis 650B testing are going very well, thank you sir. No problems at all. It seems that the new rims are bombproof as ghetto tubeless, i'm happy to report.

Good luck with the frames, I hope they are a great success.

No probs Stu, I really enjoyed myself on the bike.
I was of the mind that 650b would not present much of a difference in riding but it really did surprise. The geo of the frame suited me nicely. I enjoyed the responsiveness too, power to the pedals = power to the ground.
Darn it's fun riding a rigid bike!

I know you said the green is just a test colour - but it does look good....

How do I convince my Mrs I need another bike?
