    hey zippy! awesome build, so your 09 is carbon frame alum. rear right? thought i has heard the full carbon wouldn't fit the 650 in the rear..? also is that a 29er fork? and what size is the head tube, 1 1/8 or tapered? sorry to ask so many questions i just love you set-up..

    but it pulls away from tire as suspension compress'.if i have issues w/ say mud, etc, i will go w/ an mrp single ring setup up front.the guide will not be that far back as the dmd.

    its not the sworks frame. 2009 carbon expert and marathon are the same framesets ,dif. colors. they have alloy rears.and different carbon weave than sworks. the xfusion velvet fork is a 26 and 650b fork . 5.00 spacer to make it 650.i do not use spacer though . quasi moto has cleared at full travel.a fox float front fork would of worked also but more money.
    my frame has option of taper or standard 1 1/8 steer. i kept the 1 1/8 setup instead of removing lower bearing and buying 1.5 bearing.i have a specialized lower 1.5 to 1 1/8 reducer race on lower .
