    jamis 650b 2

spent part of the day riding one of only a few of the 650b 2 in the country today. nice bike. handled very well. a bit more pedal induced bob than i'm used to,but like riding a couch that is no slouch in the corners. also rode a scott genius 10 (unreal bike, a whole different world), and a scott spark 30 carbon. after 7 years of only riding 29ers, it was so refreshing and quick to be back on 26"wheels. the 27.5" of the jamis felt great too. ended up going home with the spark though. 120mm in the front was a welcome upgrade over the old ones.

k fellow b'ers I called my local shop and got some MSRP's on these babies.

    B1 complete - $2875
    B2 complete - $4575
B2 frame kit - $2275 (from what I understand comes with the W.bros fork/headset/seatpost/clamp for this price.)

Shoot, I was hoping they might be a bit more affordable. For that money you're not that far from affording a U.S. made El Bastardo. Well, to be fair, the B1 is relatively reasonable...

Too bad about the WB. I'm not willing to take the 50/50 chance on one.
