    Bonking ... not feelin' well giant talon 2 fork upgrade

    hi guys just got a 2019 giant talon 2 . i want upgrade the fork . i was looking at 120 mm fork but i was wondering if 140mm would fit fine? need some help

    You should check with Giant. I would think that the 120 would be ok but the 140 is 40mm longer than stock which could add more leverage/stress than the frame was designed for.

    No probs with 120mm. Never tried 140mm. I changed out a 140mm solo air stem for a 120mm debonair and the difference in length looked so insignificant. But going 100mm to 140mm is a 1.5" increase. What's that work out to? An extra 2deg slacker head angle but your bottom bracket height goes up too. I'm curious if a 40mm jump will be detrimental to stability and structural integrity of the bike.
