    Fork upgrade. 140 or 150mm (27.5) or 130mm 29er

So I have 2013 5010 (solo actually) with 68 deg HA. Looking to slack it out and thinking 140mm or 150mm fork. What about a 130mm 29/27.5+ Fork. Same AC as 150mm 27.5 fork (in Fox 34 forks)- I am not looking for more travel really. Just to slacken out the HA. I think 20mm increase in Axle to crown should slacken by 1 deg. The reason I am looking at 130 29er is I want to be able to expand my used market opportunities.

    And experience/advice appreciated.

I'd get an angleset first, ride it, then consider a longer travel fork. I'd try to avoid the long AC forks as they really bump stack (Pike +20mm). The Angleset kits come with three cups: -0.5, -1, -1.5. Work great, assemble with a frictionless compound, and forget it.

    OR

    Get a new 5010
    GG Megatrail 27.5 (Braaap!)
    GG Trail Pistola 27+/29 (speedy)
    Pivot Shuttle 27.5 (wife's)

I do have spacers under the stem so I can probably get the stack back to where it is now with the 130mm Fox 32.

High offset 29er is gonna feel twitchy with 27.5 wheel.

If you are running a short stem with it you better make damn sure you keep the front wheel weighted while leaning the bike on turns.

If not it will wash out in an instant.

You'd be the only kid in the park with a Syntace Flatforce stem on a 150mm bike.
