Which fork for my new 27.5

    Hi guys!

I haven't owned "modern" fork since 2010-2011 so I must admit my knowledge, when it comes to modern forks, is little to none. In any case, I am about to assemble something little bit more modern and it shall be used as XC/Trail bike.
Now is the time to pick a fork for my new build and the choice is between Fox talas 120-140 and RS Sid RCT3 2015. Fox is little bit cheaper but if you guys think SID is worth it I will not hesitate to add 60 to the price of the Fox Fork.

That is all information I know about the forks (and everything current owner of the forks knows about them) so I will post pictures of said forks if that will be of any help.

Since you are throwing the term "trail" into the equation, I'd go for the Fox. It's going to be more versatile. The Sid is a racing fork. It's stiff and light. The Fox will be more plush.

I know a really fast racer on his Santa Cruz highball with a rs Sid who can pin some of the steepest trails out there so it really comes down to use and your riding style.

What bike is it going on?
    Will you race with it?
Do you keep your wheels on the ground or like to be poppy?
    How heavy are you?

Fox 34 27.5+ will give you the most versatility. You'd need a 15x110 wheel and I'd go at least 35mm inner width rim.
