    Fit a 2.8" Maxxis Tyre on a 30mm Rim
    Hey guys,
i am wondering if i coud fit a 2.8" Tyre on my 30mm (internal with) Rim.
I bought the Tyre without my internal Rim with in mind....
I have planned to run it Tubeless.

I dont know if its too much stress for the Tyre on the narrow Rim, i am around 60Kg.

Tank you all from Germany :)

    Imo perfect for that weight.
I am 72kg and run rekon 2.8 2.6 and 2.4 all on i30 different bikes and wheelset. Tubeless 27.5 wheelset ht and fs. For me perhaps 2.6 is ideal for i30 but better 2.8 than 2.4 for sure. At your weight I would think it's pretty optimal. At least for the rekon I run. But ofcource it's a matter of so many factors.
I have tried rekon 2.8 on i40 and it was to draggy for me. The maxxis tyres seems very squared to me vs schwalbe btw. Might just be imagination...
Enjoy. Wide tyres have some fun qualities.

You will be fine. I rant the Highroller 2, 2.8 last year on the same rim size and it was fine. It only measures out to a 2.55 anyways.
