Finally got my Timberwolf bult ready to ride.

Been a long process to get to the ready to ride stage. Full custom build.

Lots of cool parts from MRP fork, custom wheel set, Kite dropper etc.

Great looking bike. Half the fun is building it yourself. Enjoy.

Do you mind me asking where you obtained your frame from? I've been looking for a nice 27.5" frame at a reasonable price.

I got it via my local bike shop from the importers here in New Zealand- Worralls. Fairly rare frame in NZ (2 small, 2 medium & 2 large) that came in, same as my P-650b frameset.

Get down to your local Scott dealer shop and order one of the Scott Spark 142RWS12 IDS-SL DM hangers, they are a straight swap out for the one on the frame. See pix of my Timberwolf & my Scott Spark 700RC.

Old vs new DM dropout. Turns out the new one only fits M985+ or higher D's with that knuckle system. Sorry the new M9100 ones don't hve that.
    Looks pretty nice now.

Nice to see this built up. Thanks for the tips about the dropouts: never thought about going bigger than 36t.

Still collecting parts for my frame, build the wheels. I'm patient.

    Timberwolf hits the scales.

Finally got around to weigh the Wolf. 12.26kg (26.9lbs) not to bad considering the build.
My other Ritchey (rigid P-650b) comes in at 9.1kg (20lbs).
