Update: Got a 20" "MN03" from carbon-goods during an ebay 20% off sale for $187 shipped. It had a different model on the packing slip but I can't find it now.

It came in at 1500g, takes up to maybe a 2.6" rear but I have 2.5" on there now.

Geo is a bit dated. Had to get the large version for the reach I wanted, so stand over is less than I'd like.

Build quality seems fine. Initial ride feel is very playful in the turns, but kind of like a bulldozer on ledge ups. I might put on a shorter stem and go to a sb seatpost to get my cg back.

If there is room for a 26+ tire up front, then it can work great. The problem is in the back, my experience in the back has been that 27.5 is still better than 26, but 26+ up front can be great if you can't fit a 27.5+ tire in the fork. Some people do this as well with 27.5+ front tires in a 29" frame.

This last one is the most interesting. 1.1 kg. It supposedly comes in 26", 27.5", and 29" frames, length is either 15.5 or 17. No option to choose which wheel size for the frame though so you probably have to e-mail them before purchasing.

But after looking at the new Shimano 12-speed drivetrain and it's astronomical pricing:

    https://www.bikemag.com/gear/compone...eils-next-xtr/

$380 just for the cassette, $420 for 1x crankset, $260 rear derailleur, $130 shift lever, $130 chainring, $65 chain, I'm thinking 10-11 speed is a bit nicer on the wallet lol.

    Hey guys,
I just got a new Hardtail carbon frame from BXT at Ebay really cheap, the frame just came and is super light weight, with my 225Lb im scary to ride that frame, look very well made and good finish.

So the frame feel really hollow if u knock is like hitting a plastic bottle also I can flex the down tube ( around the bottle cage area) a bit with my both hands pushing.

Anyone can give me some advise, my other carbon frame bike is a Santa Cruz Bronson and that one feel hardsolid and heavy.
may be is normal thing on this super light frames , mine is size 18.5 and weight 2,10 Lb

Frame strength isn't determined by trying to compress the frame at a singular point, especially in the middle of the main tubes. If you're concerned about weight did you notice if there was a rider weight maximum?

I looked at BXT but passed because of the cramped geometry and light weight. 950g frame for a 225lb rider? Maybe stick to the smooth trails.

yep, I just notice that after I ordered, his geometry is between med/large and the frame is really light, my concern is the flex on the frame tubing and the little of material.I will report later

Yeah please do. I as looking at this exact frame for myself but I too am concerned about my weight on this frame (235lbs - 240lbs with water, tool, and supplies). I would hate to take a small drop and split this thing in half, lol.

Look at the frame in my post at the top of this page. It's stiff and takes a 2.6" rear tire.

    Chinese Carbon Frames - 650b edition-2018-08-07_101147.jpg

Just found this having a poke about - anyone seen it before? Private label and one of a few they seem to do (only carbon one though it seems) with 120mm, 140mm and 160mm and a DH bike.

Hi. Anyone riding a velobuild M071? They're on sale for $229 and am looking to build a hardtail for smooth trails. I tried searching the thread, but nothing came up.

Angel, I ordered the BXT frame a couple months ago on sale from ebay and am just now getting around to building it. What rear brake adapter did you use?

I kind of bought this on a whim, and when it came in, I noticed how I didn't like the humpback of the 20". Standover height is less than I want, and the geometry looks really tight. I'm thinking about selling it locally for a loss and ordering something more modern geometry. Can anyone make a recommendation for a lightweight XC frame (~1200g plus or minus), with either boost or non-boost spacing that has more modern geometry?Chinese Carbon Frames - 650b edition-img_20180722_193742877-1-.jpgChinese Carbon Frames - 650b edition-frank_10.jpg

Purchased a vb-m-071 that was on sale through Velobuild.

It's starting to look like a bike.

Will be running a 1x10 slx/Saint drivetrain. Saving up for a wheelset.
