    Better bang for the buck

Hey all, new poster here. I ride paved trails, hard gravel trails and light to medium single track, no excessive hills and no jumping as I'm 47. I've narrowed my next bike search down to 2 bikes. They both have what I am looking for - 1x drivetrain, hydraulics, air fork, and 2.25 by 27.5 tires. The two bikes are sold through the same local shop.

The 2 bikes are the Jamis Hijack A1 and the Kona Blast.

If you have had any experience with these please post. I am undecided since they both retail at $999. I'm not a brand snob and could care less about colors just want maximum bang for the buck. Thanks

The specs on the Kona are way better all around! That bike is quite the bargain! Hundreds less than my ‘15 GT Zaskar was with similar components. Plus i29 Tubeless ready wheels, awesome. Have a BLAST! d;o)

Thank you kind sir! They’d have to order it so no discounts
The Hijack is 979 less 10% discount so just under 950 OTD.
    Still say Kona?
