    650b WTB tires ???

So I am checking out what is on the BTI site for 650b...and I come across this:
    http://www.bti-usa.com/public/category/TR/TRTB/WT

I had heard that a Wolverine was coming out in 650b, but nothing on the Weirwolf.
For the record, I have no experience w/ either in 26 or 29, but it is an interesting option.

Is it legit, or possible a missprint?

As of earlier this week, nothing on the WTB site.

    Misprint

I think it is a misprint. The only mention of any tire coming from WTB is the Wovlverine. Which weighs 640g according to WTB and ironically that is the weight of the tire on your link. I think BTI is confused.

Yeah, I haven't heard anything about a 650B Weirwolf either, but that pic is definitely looks like a Weirwolf. I've run the 2.5 Race version on the front of my 26" bikes for years. It's a great tire and runs well in tubeless mode. I wish they would make it in 650B, but the Wolverine is the only WTB I've heard of. Interesting.

    Definitely an error.

I spent several hours with the WTB crew going over the changes in the lineup for 2010 and discussing design/performance principles.

The Wolverine 2.2 is their only 650B tire for the time being and they are excited about it. future B models will depend on how this one does in the marketplace.

The pic is a Weirwolf but the old version. The 26" WWs have been redesigned (the WW LT is unchanged).

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

I alerted BTI and they will make the correction.

Coincedence. I just emailed WTB earlier about when the 650 will be out. Doesn't show in thier lineup yet. You have any "off the record" idea of when?

    Thx in advance-JMac
Wait whuuut, who did he tell you that!?!?....
