650B on the front of a Blur

Hello, I need input on using a 650b wheel on the front of a Blur. This is one of the first year Blurs and and I won't be selling it ever. I'm 6'2" and rode the bike for a summer or two and then got sucked into the 29er bigger wheel bikes. I have always liked the frame but have been thinking about trying a 650b front wheel. 26 inch wheel in back. The fork , a Fox Talas adj from 80 to 125 mm could be used to adjust my head angle. The 650 b tire clears, tried it at a local dealer. I am thinking this setup might help in the rocks, much like a 29er wheel but I don't think a 29er front end would be good. Let me know what you think and if anyone has a wheel for sale. thanks

I have been riding that set-up, actually a blur XC w/ a 650b upfront and it is a definite upgrade.
More stable, rolls better, grips better (obviously tire dependent, but larger contact).

Just take time to tweak your position slightly.
