    650 monocogs?

I've been following this 650B movement for a little while now, and I must say i'm intrigued. I've ridden a few 29ers and liked them just fine, but the hippo like handling was enough to keep me away from making the leap, I'm hoping a 650 conversion to my26er monocog will be just the ticket...

Anyone have any insight to wether it will work or not???

I've been looking into it! Which model and year of monocog do you have? Is it steel or aluminum. Slider dropouts? I had an 2005 Monocog with the 110mm spaced rear, and I'm kinda regretting letting it go. BUT, if you've got the version with the sliding type droouts, you're probably in luck!!

brown 06 with sliders! I'm kinda punchin myself for purchasing a sun-ringlet Charger wheelset mid way through the summer.

Do you have a suggestion for an affordable 650 wheelsetfor the MC?

Your least expensive would be a set of Deore disc hubs on Velocity Synergys. But that would be a custom build. There are no prbuilt disc wheelsets out there yet. Look to Sun Ringle, and possibly American Classic in late 08 for complete wheel options. I just got my VooDoo Bokor, with sliders, today. 650B with Neo-Motos Fit nicely!
