I have a Meta AM V4 frameset... just waiting on some shock hardware to build it up... good reviews from a few media outlets... its a nicely built frame for sure.

These look like great deals. Damn, I'm not in the market for a bike, but if I were this might jump right over the Intense Spider. Hell I like the XFusion suspension on the Origin.

    How about the Hardtails anyone?

I bought the frame, plan to build it up with the least expensive parts since my wife biggest priority is that the color will match.

Will a 140mm fork be any good since its less expensive.

I dig the look and certainly dig the price tag on these. I will never not be suspect though of any frame with that kink in the top tube.

I would get the Meta HT at first but then I realised Hardtail's aint my type, but I really find the hardtails really good looking with nice specs and good for their price

    Got one, Meta V4 anodized:

    Attachment 969231

Pike 160mm with monarch+ debonair (both directly bought at commencal).

Bike is more efficient than the old Meta 5.5 I had, a little bit less plush.
I was afraid that 65.5 head angle would compromise handling but that's not the case.
It's a bike that love speed and it gives confidence to do it. It's also a better AM bike due to pedaling capabilities.
It has minor issues (see vitalMTB review), but overall I really like this bike.

VitalMTB gave it a 4/5 stars (excellent) review which is better than most bikes in their current bike review segment. Issues were very minor. Some dirt gets into the cable routing port by the BB (easily washed), and some heel rub on the chainstays. The stays are very wide but my size 12 dogs don't touch them, so the Vital tester must have been riding daffy duck style.

I haven't had the chance to fully charge on my mine yet but after my first shake out ride I did have to re-torque a couple of the pivot bolts. They all appear to have threadlocker but best to keep an eye on them anyway.
