Upgrade old manitou black elite fork

Hi I have a trek fuel 90. I have pretty much upgraded all the parts on it other than the suspension. I was wondering if it might be worth while to upgrade the front suspension. It currently has a manito black elite but I was curious if I could spend $300 or so and take advantage of some of the technology improvements that have occurred.

My riding style consists of mostly single track and fire roads.I was looking at the Manitou Markhor but i canít tell if it would actually be an upgrade. Thanks for any tips!

What year is your fork? If you have TPC damping, there's not, in my opinion, much out there that I would consider an upgrade. Maybe a Manitou Minute.
The suspension of your bike sucks if it's different than mine. Really. It sucks. Big time.
