    Newbie tyre question

Hi I am new too the forum and mountain biking, I am trying to get fit after neck and spinal surgery.
i have just bought a 2015 On one 456 evo 2 steel hardtail.
The problem I have is the bike is fitted with Fox Van RC2 forks, 160mm with a straight through front axel I have now just won a nice set of DT SWISS 240s HUBS DT Swiss XR 4.2D Wheelset 26 and apparently they wonít fit on the front according to the chap I bought the bike from.
Is there anything I can.do too make them fit any adaption .
    Thanks in advance .

Is there axle for the fox a 15 or 20mm axle? You'll need to see if there's a conversation kit available from the front hub manufacturer. If there is you should be set. If not, no go.

What you'll need to do is find the exact model of 240 hub, looks like some are narrower than others. Best bet would be to contact dt Swiss or post a pic of the hubs and axle setup

If it's a 9mm quick release hub you might run into the issue of the bearings not being large enough to allow for the 20mm through axle. I had a set of CK hubs I wanted to convert and it wasn't an option due to that.

Hi I am not sure I donít know how to upload photo to show you my bike.
This is the info on the Dt wheel set .

Rear hub end to end is 150ml.
Front end to end is 110ml.
    Not sure if that helps

    Sounds like a dh wheelset.

    Probably 20x110 front non boost

    12x150 rear.

Front wheel I would guess will fit your fork, rear possiblity it's too large for your frame.

What width rear wheel does your frame take, 135 quick release or 142x12?

    Front fork a 20mm or 15mm?

I have been told the rear will fit no problem itís the front thatís in doubt .
My bike is 18Ē non boost 456 Evo2 if that any help, not sure if itís worth just fitting the rear with the Dt240s hub and selling the front or sell as a pair and hopefully get my money back unless there is some sort of adaptation.
