    Manitou Xvert Super fork stuck?

Is this an elastomer fork? It seems to have 1/2 of travel at the moment and not sure what happened to it, bike has sat for years. Tried adjusting all knobs and nothing helped. Best to get a new fork or is it fixable?

    It is coil and elastomer.

Sometimes, a forks damping oil will leak through a failed seal into the bottom of the fork leg, effectively locking it up. Would be my guess.

Since you are already on discs, a new form would probably work out well.

Thank you so much for all the info. Now to track down a rebuild kit or buy a new fork
