thinking of getting a set for my 27.5 plus I run 2.8. Not much info on them, hoping someone has some experience with them and could share their thoughts ?

I know this is not exactly what you are asking for but I have several sets of the aluminum 938 wheelsets which apparently they aren't making anymore but they have been great, roughly 1800 very rowdy eastern rock garden miles on one set alone and they have been very good, logo hubs have been flawless and wheels are very laterally stiff/put the power down nicely. Several of the guys who I ride with have the carbon wheels with I9 hubs and I have never heard complaints--"Enduro" 6'-10' drop kinda guys and they have never broke a rim/wheel yet.

BTW, I am running DHF/DHR 2.6 on them, could easily support more but I feel this is a hot setup for my comfort/traction in the super rocky terrain we ride. I am considering a set for my hardtail that will get 27.5 x 3" tires.

I would have no worries with this wheelset, let us know what you think.

I have the S35 aluminum 29" wheels and they are fine. The are listed as being the exact same weight as the previous 938 wheels (which I also have) but the s35 are noticeably lighter.

They are easy to set up tubeless and roll nicely. Not much of an issue. Pretty darn cheap as well.
