    Anyone convert Fuse 6fattie 1x10 to 1x11?

    Hi,

Has anyone out there converted their Specialized Fuse 6fattie from a 1x10 Sunrace to 1x11 SRAM setup? Anything to be aware of? Are there any issues with the existing rear hub - frame?

I'd like to convert from the , 10-speed, 11-40t to SRAM GX XG-1150 11 Speed and upgrade the derailleur / shifters / chain...

    Thanks in advance!
    John

Buddy of mine just got the 2017 and it's 1x11, so if you're just slapping a whole new drivetrain on I don't think it'll be an issue.

I kept the **** crank and PF30, but got an 11 speed chain, x01 RD and thumb shift, and an 11 speed shimano XT cassette.

All has been working for for 5 months now. Headset and bottom bracket not included.

I just noticed that Specialized seemed to change their drivetrain to SRAM NX. That seems to have a cassette which can be installed on a regular splined hub body. Smallest gear is 11 teeth. That seems like a pretty simple upgrade path. Anyone ridden a bike with SRAM NX 1x11?

My 2017 Fuse 6Fattie Comp came with Sram NX 1x11. Shifts smoothly out of the box, only issue is back pedaling in the larger cogs, likes to jump gears. Im pleased with the budget setup (for now).

Try realigning the rear derailleur hanger. That should solve the back pedal issue you are seeing.

I converted my Surly Wednesday from a 2x10 to a 1x11. My rear wheel is not an XD driver. I used a Sunrace 1x11 cassette (11-42) with a GX rear derailleur, Sram X1 chain, and SRAM X1 trigger shifter. It works greats. The Sunrace is lighter and cheaper than SRAM's NX 11-42 cassette.
