    Yeti Zephyr

I know the chances are slim to none but is there anyone out there who has or know someone who has a Yeti Zephyr and are willing to sell it?

I have one, but there is no way I'd sell it, unless there was a really good offer.

Its no18, they say they made 50, but there is no more than about 25 ever produced. They do crop up from time to time, and there are even a few people with unbuilt frame kits knocking about, some are here

mine is this one........... (one of 2 in Europe)

if I had a choice between a Ti Yeti ARC and a Zephyr, I think I may choose the Zephyr... That's just a gorgeous bike. What year did Yeti make the Zephyr (and I'm assuming it's steel)?

The Zephyr was made in 1995/6 to celebrate 10 years of Yeti.

Its made of Custom Drawn (specifically for the Zephyr) Easton Alu tubing. The problem with the tubing used on the ARC is that it can't be bent on the main tubes, its to brittle (in 95 we are talking about), so Yeti had Easton custom make tubesets.

They came as a frame/fork kit, with the bars and the stem. They come with a limited edition brass head badge.

If you look closer, the forks are answer Accutrax with no brake bosses, the stem is an unbadged Answer Atac, and the bars are just crazy!

I think they could come with a Nexus rear hub, mine ahs the 7 speed, I think only 2 of these speeds are left, and a coaster brake.

Mine has AC cranks, Mavic DH rims, King headset, Schwinn crusier tyres, schwinn seat. ITs all OTT for a beach crusier!

It rides so much fun, but to be honest, I have not used it in 3 years

I would be looking at wanting 1250ono + shipping(I'm in the UK)
I can get a deal with shipping through work, but would want another 100 for USA, it will cost more than that, but i'd take it.

Thats what I'd want to part with it.

give me a day or two to grease the skids with the family. I want that bike bad. Of course I will try to negotiate but don't worry, I know thats a rare bike so I won't disrespect what its worth. I'm just excited there is one available.

thanks andrew (by the way, this is Ron from CO). Hope your doing well and I hope you make it to the Gathering next year.

Maybe it'll be on the Front Range soon which has excellent riding and sooner or later, the boys" at Yeti will run out of the "epic locations.

    Cheers.

    HI Ron

If you want just the frame/fork/stem/bars/Headset, Seat and a few bits 1250 shipped.

The wheels will be a mare to ship.

It will be easier to pack, and a bit lighter.

get in touch, I hope you get it, it will be going to a good home.
