Yeti/WTB seat -- how can I get one?

How can I get my hands on one of those spiffy Yeti seats that come on the new bikes?

I want one for my ASR.

    Anybody want to sell theirs?

I bought one direct from Yeti. It was the most uncomfortable saddle I've ever used. Nothing wrong with it, just the wrong shape for my rear end.

Sorry, keeping mine as a spare. I did replace it with the pro gel version and can't be happier. Replaced both of my bike's saddles with the pro gel version of the rocket V. I did find with the rockets it took a little bit of fiddling to get the comfortable riding position. Also, a little time to break it in.

I'll gladly trade you for a pro gel rocket V. Mine is 6 months old but i'm not sure that next to a brand new one anyone could tell the difference. pm me if you would like to make a trade.

I don't know if it is the shape or not, but it is a very uncomfortable saddle. It's very hard and hard in the wrong places. But it has that COOL yellow Yeti logo on the back... dang.. choices choices... comfort or cool...

I spent 9 hours in the saddle on Saturday. My ass is killing me! I needed one of those hemrhoid donuts on my seat.

find her Yeti WTB saddle very comfortable. I didn't think they were but my butt is shaped like a Flite after all these years...

    $60???

    HA!

That's OK.........I'm sure I'll find one cheaper elsewhere.

I'm surprised everyone doesn't like their WTB Yeti saddle.

I have a regular Rocket V Race saddle right now, and it's great.............is there some sorta difference?

I've always heard bad things about gel saddles or gel anything. Someone said something about it absorbing extra heat, or something, and I've heard other bad stuff.

The rule of thumb I was always taught is that plush is comfy, but firm is comfier for long rides.

I have a Flite on my Ibis right now, and it's pretty good. A little uncomfy, but good for long rides. I have the Rocket V on my Yeti, and love it, but I haven't done anything long with it, yet. I had an Avocet O2 on the Yeti, originally, and it was softer than the WTB, but not good at the end of the day.

You guys have sorta sparked my curiosity with the Pro Gel model, now.

    Those who find it hard...

... don't give up on it, there seems to be a break-in period.

At first I found mine quite tough, but eventually it broke in and now turns out to be quite comfortable actually. Unless it's my butt...

Anyway just give it a little time and see how it goes.

I agree... It fits my @rse just fine. The yellow is now faded and the Yeti stitching is somewhat pulled apart. Other than that, I like it .
