Yeti SB-66 Carbon ready to ship

Yeti SB-66 Carbon ready to ship according to bikeradar.com. Looks like it comes in at 6lbs which is pretty impressive.

However I don't like the Yeti comment of, "I don’t expect we’ll sell too many with [Fox] 36s." and $3K is expensive even when compared to other carbon frames in the category. But it is one good looking frame that is for sure.

False Alarm guys, the guy form bikeradar overheard a conversation about the SB-95 just ariving and thought it was the SB-66C. The SB-66C is still about a month out.(according to Yeti)

They also say August availability for 95's. Yet they are available now from LBS's.

Jenson adjusts inventory according to the pre-orders. If you've put an order in with them early enough you should still get yours at or close to the originally promised date. This is what happened with the SB-66s. Luckily I got my order in reasonably early and didn't have to wait too long.

The day after I received my order, the date was delayed another 6 weeks.
Black color is always available in stock ... surprised as it looks like a lot of people have been going for it. Unless Yeti produces more black than all the other colors combined.

Personally I say don't buy a first run carbon, let someone else discover where they went too thin (ASR 5C had some issues which seem to be resolved now)
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Unless it does kill you, in which case, you wouldn't be here to dispute the point.
