    Yeti N+1

    So, hypothetically speaking..

Let's say you own an ARC carbon and ASR carbon. And you wanted to add to the collection...

    Which Yeti would you add?

    5c - 650b all mountain

4.5c - 29er, maybe too much overlap with the ASR

    5.5c - 29er all mountain

    5.5c or 6c.

I actually think you'd like the smaller wheels of the 6c and that bike is such a different animal to what you already own and you could still hammer down 30 plus mile rides without feel in to pooped.

6c - to cover the entire spectrum...
then start from the beginning again and build another ARC, then ...

So you're saying I should get the 30th anniversary SB6?

That is the dream machine. I'd invisiframe on top of my first invisiframe if I owned that beauty. That bike has it all and the DT wheels are just fine with no need to go carbon unless you can't help yourself. I know BC still has Mediums but they are getting harder to find.

sb6 for sure! but if you go to CC and get a regular color 2016 frame you can custom build a better spec'ed bike with carbon wheels for the same price as the 30th version!

If your purchases of the ARC and ASR were based on the types of trails in your area, you definitely won't need the 5.5c and possibly even the 5c.
I only ride bikes to fill the time when I'm not skiing.

Agreed...the local trails are relatively smooth/buff single track.

4.5c would be the most anyone would need for local trails.

5c, 6c, 5.5c would be only for 'destination' trails, i.e. Long drives or flights...hard to justify the expense for such a niche bike.

    Like I said....all hypothetical.

Don't kid yourself Junior, You'd find plenty of place to make use of either the 5.5c or the 6c. I take my 6c out on tame trails just to work on my fitness even more with the heavier weight and lees efficient long travel and it's still a blast. Wisconsin has some awesome All Mountain riding which call for 5"-6" bikes.
