    Yeti ARC ebay scam

    Hello
I recently bid on a 2006 Yeti ARC with the Pro disk component package. I did not meet the reserve price but now have recieved 5 second chance offeres from 5 seperate individuals all claiming to be the owner. The seller name is smidlarsky.
I just wanted it for the components. I am still trying to decide between the ASR sl or the 575.

Bogus second chance offers are pretty routine following high-profile auctions.

I'd be hesitant to drag the seller's good name into it -- he likely has no knowledge this is happening.

I just got the same load of crap after auctioning on a Jamis bike.... Bunch of emails, from different folks, one even saying to use some bogus escrow company and use western union.. I am in network security, so the odds of me getting scammed are minimal, but I can't help but feel sorry for some folks who would easily fall for those....
