On the Yeti wesite, it says the BB size is 73mm by 113mm. Can I use a BB that is 73mm by 118?

agree!

It all depends on crank selection. Some cranks really offset their chainrings inward (narrower chainline) and others kick them outward (bad chainline). The problem I see with today's outboard bearing bottom bracket set ups is that the chainlines are horrible! Don't even think about running the middle chainring/large cog as you'll be droppin' chains often. I'm currently using a 118mm length spindle ISIS with Raceface Turbine cranks on one of my 575's and notice my chainline isn't great but have no issues with shifting or chain droppage. So.... 118mm is doable, you just need the right crankset to go with it.
