Suspension charateristics changed on the 2011 575?

Does anyone know if the famous 'soft'/plush midstroke has changed on the 2011 575 models compared to the pre-2011's?

Had a 2009 575 with stock RP23 and carbon rear. I was always annoyed by the soft midstroke and the way it blew through its travel.

Has this changed in the way they did it with the ASR5?

    Thanks
    Simon

Do you see a change in the pivot placement? That is what is going to drive this.

Nope - haven't noticed - and haven't researched it. Hence the thread :-)
Do you know if they've firmed up the suspension?
    Cheers

According to their website videos they have stiffened up the rear with the ASR-7 bearings and the new hydro-formed lower pivot area. I would assume that it would ride close to the most current ASR-5 but with more travel and a slacker HTA.

I am struggling with going to the SB-66 vs a 2011 575. I rode the SB-95 this past weekend and I just didn't like how firm it was through its initial stroke. It made for a great pedaling bike, but plush it was not and that's more along the ones of what I am looking for.

With the introduction of the SB-66 and SB-95 I am not sure how much longer the 575 will be around.

    Thanks!
A bit more info - no offense to the first answer :-)

Anyone else with some own experience?

Also read something about Boostvalved RP23s doing a good job of firming the midstroke (or handling it better, as the thread said... whatever that means).
Btw - no chance for me to go and try on - no Yeti dealer in poor little Denmark :-)

PUSH is a popular option for those who complain about mid-stroke support on the '08-'11 575's. Works wonders. To answer your question I don't believe there is any major difference re: the suspension between '09 and '11.

    I thought this was a re-hash...
Pretty uneventful read, but in that thread, the OP called YETI to find out for sure.
