    Sources say: 2007 Yeti

My impeccable sources just back from a Yeti factory tour tell me there is an all-carbon Yeti coming for 2007. AS-R? Wouldn't surprise me at all, seems like everyone is announcing full-carbon rides.
    What, me hurry?

Yeti has "rested" on the success of the 575 a wee bit so I'm not surprised that at least one model will just go all out. I can hardly wait for Interbike. Yeti full carbon? Yeti 29er? Yeti 29er Steel Arc? Oh, the possibilities......

Is ANYONE here going to Interbike? Can we get some pics please?

I personally would love to see a 575 update. A sightly stiffer rear triangle would be my first request and maybe make the dogbone suspension design a little easier to work on.

A steel 29er Arc would be nice too.

Oh, and offer the AS-R SL in a full carbon version and a full Aluminum version. I'm not a Freerideer so I have no input on the others.

Yes, I realize this is a lot but it doesn't hurt to dream.

I don't think we'll see a FULL carbon AS-R, but I've heard of some prototyping of carbon REAR TRIANGLES for the AS-R happening real soon, if not already. There weren't any at the Tribe Gathering, but that's the buzz...

Also seen at the Tribe Gathering was an AS-R rear triangle and dogbone matched up to a full titanium front end welded by Kent Eriksen, who was one of the original founders of Moots Cycles. The frame was just a proto, and there are still things to work out but let me tell you it was BEAUTIFUL. Just really killer craftsmanship, great welds, the whole deal. Check more of Kent's stuff out at http://www.kenteriksen.com/

As discussed before....I'd like to see a SS specific hardtail and a something slotted between the 575 and the ASX...something along the lines of the RFX/6-Pack.

Oh wait....I can't prodeal from them anymore and I'm broke ....nevermind.....

Oh man. I want one of each, and a 575, and an Arc, and an ASX, and a 303. I wouldn't even know what to do with those last two, but I still want 'em.

Looks nice, but I hope it's more than just a paint job. The ASX is getting pretty long in the tooth and needs some major revisions to get it current.

    OK, back to work...

Only reason why I can think someone would want to run a White Bros. is if it were a 29er.
Since when did Need have anything to do with this?

You'd think so, but in reality it's all about the right tool for the job. For me it's sometimes 9", sometimes 5 3/4", and occasionally an extremely stiff 3 1/2" !!
