    Seatpost fitment

I just bought a Thomson 30.9 (410mm) for my ASR-5 Medium frame. The post fit really snug. Is this just the fact that the frame and post are new and haven't been worn in yet? It's almost as if it's a hair big. You really have to be careful about "forcing" it in, and then "yanking" it out.

I'm building an ASR-5 alloy as well and using the exact same seatpost. the fit is snug but I wouldn't call it tight. It slides in nicely and pulls out nicely. It doesn't drop in on its own, but I can push it in with a finger.
I live with fear and danger every day. And on the weekends she lets me go mountain biking.
