    Schwinn Homegrown

Did I read somewhere that the Schwinn Homegrown is a Yeti design, pretty much like the ARC?

Yep. Built in Durango during the dark days of the brand.

Yes, I had one back in the mid 90's - it was a great bike!

Thanks, I found one for sale. It's a 2001 though, looks like 99 was the last year for Yeti-made.

They pop up for sale from time to time and some still in good condition. I've still got my '97 Homegrown hardtail, excellent condition with the usual scratches but have no plans to sell it. I even brought it in to a shop lately looking for a part and a couple of the employees had to comment on it...of course it was a Yeti shop so they are familiar with the history.

Be carefull as they weren't all yeti made. Some were control tech. They are still awesome though!

I had a sick bass boat blue homegrown with a baby blue sid on the front. Nice XC bike for the time.
