    SB95c Seatpost Torque Setting

Does anyone know the torque spec for an SB95c's seat post collar? I've looked in the documentation, Yeti site, and a general Google search and can't seem to find it.

    Thank

    SB95c Seatpost Torque Setting

I emailed this question to Yeti service and got message from Matt Fisher:

The max torque on the seat post QR or bolt should be 6nm. But you can stop once the post does not slip if that high torque is not necessary. If you get to 6nm torque and the post still slips then there is something else happening that needs to be worked out.

b0r1sKa, thanks for for getting the answer. I also sent them the question but haven't heard back yet so I'm guessing it got lost.

In any case, thanks. Using a 5nm, it gets plenty tight before the torque limiter kicks in. Good to know I'm within the proper range.

I run a Thomson seatpost clamp on mine, just set to their recommended 2.8nm and you're good to go. It's been faultless on a few bikes over the past couple of years and it looks factory which is the main thing!
