    SB95 and SB95C Real Weights

Considering a SB95 and would like to know what are the real world weights you are getting your bikes at? I ride a large and I'd like to see what a SB95 and a SB95C can be built at with a kit that a typical person would ride.

Can't tell you about kit weights, but my size large painted turquoise frame was 6.04 lbs. Total bike weight with pedals was in the 26 lb range.

2 weeks ago I rented a brand new large SB95 with the stock Enduro build and it was 31.4 lbs on the luggage scale at the hotel. I really liked the bike but will be getting a 95C with a better build than that if I go with a Yeti.

The carbon version is a whole 'nother animal. Excellent bike all the way around.

    SB95 and SB95C Real Weights

I've owned both. The carbon version is the best bike I've ever ridden/owned. I built up my AL last year and it weighed in at 30.5 lbs with reverb and Talas. I purchased the carbon frame a bit over a month ago and added Enve AM wheels along with RSR bars. Current weight is 27lbs after swapping out my Arden rear tire. If you're on the fence go carbon. The weight reduction and dampening characteristics significant. Much better in the air and traction both up and down is significantly better. The flexing of carbon means tire on the dirt.

I have ridden the aluminum bike and it was a blast, I bought the carbon and built up an XX1 with I9 and a reverb and its an XL and its 27.5 lbs with Geax tnt's on it.

The carbon is dampened better and is very stiff , the carbon is an excellent bike.
