    SB95 Carbon front derailleur

Hey folks just got my SB95 carbon frame today and have started the build. Yeti sent three bolts in different lengths that appear to be for attaching the front derailleur. I am installing a Shimano XT. Does anyone know which length bolts should I use in which hole? Thanks!!

The bolt that fully penetrates the frame threads without sticking out too far (it will rub on the suspension stroke if it's too long). You have to test fit your derailleur to make sure it's just the right size. Dont over torque it...40 lb/in shoud be good.

    Which derailleur type?

    Hey,

I am just ordering this frame now. Which type of XT derailleur are you using? Is it a direct mount? Thanks.

    E-type direct mount.

    Also known as SRAM S3.

    yes, bottom pull.

many late model front-d go both ways though.

the 95a has two cable fixing points, one for shimano and one for sram, be sure to puck the one that gives you the most direct cable action.
