For those of you with drop posts (Reverb in particular) - how do you run the dropper cable?

Mine's due to arrive tomorrow...Ordered through Jenson USA last Friday. Just the comp model in turquoise. This will be my 2nd 29er, first was / is Intense Tracer 29. Looking for a firmer ride in the Yeti. Loved my 2007 Yeti 575 and miss that Yeti feel.

    Rebuild

Rebooted my 2012 sb-95 race! Rear shock kept cavitating, so Fox gave me a deal on a float X. So, i figured i'd also buy a new pike to go with it. Build is otherwise stock, except tompson dropper and carver carbon rims laced to king hubs with sapim x-ray spokes.

    2013 XL SB95A

    chris king hubs/stans flows
    42t wolf tooth
    updated fork damping
    race face atlas cranks
    chris king headseat
    ks lev dropper
    kore ocd cut to 740mm
    wtb silverado saddle
    dura ace chain
    xtr rear D.

The bike is a blast to ride no complaints other then when riding man made berms with alot of speed the wheels flex and tires roll a bit. Hopefull this winter will lace up some dt 471 rims to help the tire roll situation.

What's your opinion of the 95 vs the 66 in the pic?

The 95 is a bit more stable and relaxed. It's a little goofy feeling on man made jumps that have sharp short transistion. If the transition is large enough it feels comfortable jumping no matter how steep the lip. It really is confidence inspiring on natural rough terrain. The sb66 works well, better in the park stuff but most of the time I'm on my 95. Both are great mountain bikes

It feels like a slightly reserved version of the float. It isn't stiff at the top of the travel or anything, but it doesn't give up any more than it needs to. The upshot is that it's very well damped in the second part of the travel. In other words, I'm loving it, especially with the pike!
