Saw the SB5, SB6, and ASR-C live today...

Spent a bit of time at Fresh Bikes in Roswell, GA, today. The pictures don't do them justice. Yeti, you make the best looking bikes in the world, period.

The ASR-C is stupid light. The basic build (with Stan's tubeless) was 22 lbs. and change. The SB5 and SB6 were very light as well. But forget the weight, these are simply gorgeous bikes.

For $50, I'm can demo an SB5 for 90 minutes on the local trail and then the ASR-C for 90 minutes. I won't do it as my ASR-5 is perfectly fine but I doubt I'll be able to resist a turquoise ASR-C if I ride it.

IF I were to buy a new Yeti (and I'm not...my ASR-5 is perfect!), it would be a very tough choice between the ASR-C and the Sb5. I love single-pivot suspension and that bike is probably perfect for my style of riding. I ride XC/trail with a bit of rougher tech descents (Pisgah, Dupont, etc.) thrown in periodically. The ASR-C looks to be exactly what I'd want.

HOWEVER, the switch infinity is getting great reviews both climbing and descending. The sb6 is overkill for me but the Sb5 might be just right. Tough choice. Glad I don't have to make it right now

If anyone's still torn, there's an Enduro spec'd SB6c on Yeti's website now. $6499 with X1, Guides, DT E1900, and Raceface Respond stem and bars. I just noticed, and hadn't seen anything posted yet.
