    Rockshox Vivd Air on SB66?

Does anyone know if it will fit. The vivid air is big and I'm concerned that there might be a clearance issue somewhere in the frame. Fwiw, frame is a medium.

    thx for any input, Mike

    Size small.

    Really transforms the bike.

sweet looking bike! I'm running the vivid air/lyrik combo and loving it. Getting full travel on both but never the feel of a bottom out.

Just curious why the Vivid Air rather than the Monarch Plus? Also, what tune are you using?

The Vivid is probably overkill for my needs but I do tend to hit a lot of drops to pretty flat landings, I'm also trying to improve and expand my jumping. The shock came the with mid rebound / low compression tune, I haven't looked into messing with that yet.

Thanks, just looking for improvement over the Float, so doing the due diligence thingy.

Well the vivid is definately a huge improvement over the float, full travel but never the sense of a bottom out. I did have a monach on my last bike (jamis dakar amt) and I was very happy with it but the vivid does feel noticably plusher but it's on a completely different frame design so I don't think it's necessarily a fair comparision.
