    ok..here goes....help needed with '12 575 build

Yeti's site won't be updated till the end of the month.

What Shimano front der. do I need?
What Cane Creek headset do I need to make a standard 1 1/8th fork work with the tapered headtube?

I think that's all I need to know right now.
    thks

Assuming the '11 and '12 are the same it looks like I need a direct mount E type. That being said, top swing, dual pull? Would that do the trick?

I wish I could help better here but I cant.
I bought my 575 as a kit so it was done for me. I sent an email to get a frame manual for it and was told the 11 and 12 are pretty much the same... Being a newb to this nice high end bike and parts I'm still learning things.
My front derailer: the cable comes up from the bottom and seems to pull down. Hope that means more for you and helps.

Sounds like a bottom pull, top swing. Thanks for posting.

No problem. Pretty sure it does swing from top. Definitely bottom pull, the cable is routed up from the bottom of the BB.
I can't help with the head set unfortunately beyond saying it is a cane creek 40 headset for a tapered steer tube.
