Mountain King 2.4 rubs chain stay on mine.

My rear rim is not all that wide, 24mm or 25mm. Did not rub a whole lot, but I wasnt too comfortable with rubbing the plastic

I found the 2.2's made my bike sit low and I feel the BB is low enough, I don't need anymore pedal strikes than I already get. No problems at all with the 2.4's. Does this help?

Seriously? So all the nice and good pics of all those classics 575s are forever gone? Man...

Well, if the old thread can't be restored, let's keep moving on. So, out with the old, in with the new... I guess.

That is a real shame that we've lost the collection of all those great 575.

Here's my old school 2006 575 named Rocks Anne. Started out the standard Enduro build with Juicy 7 brakes and Nevegal tires substituted. A few changes over the years so here's a list from memory:

Changed Fox 32 Vanilla RL fork, 130 mm travel, to Fox 32 Float RLC with 140 mm
Changed Race Face Evolve crank to Shimano XT
    Changed RP3 shock to RP23
Added side entry water bottle cage
Still have the RF stem, bars, seat post, Yeti saddle and grips, SRAM x.9 drive train but went with the pg990 cassette in 11-32; orginal Deore hubs with Mavic 317 rims
Been through many tires, brake pads, chains, etc. and still going strong!

Shown here in recent incarnation at Camp Robinson Trails, Little Rock, Arkansas

    What, me hurry?

Ahhhh, Brown County. That is truely a Yeti's natural habitat. All we can do is fantasize about that place this time of year when it's neither frozen or dry.

Knives, maybe I'll catch a ride with you their sometime.

Yeah, I've been jonesin' for some Brown County action lately. If we can catch a dry spell we might get a day or two to ride out there, but I'm not going to count on that considering the weather we've had lately.

What do you ride? I'll make sure to keep an eye out for you on the trails!!
