    Love the Bike you're With

    On this SOC13 weekend,

with all the new bling-bling announcements,

I want to remind everyone how much I inappropriately adore the 'giggle machine' that is my SB-95A.

I'm with you! I had my fifth ride on my new ASR-5 and, as much as I love the look of the ARC carbon, I'm glad I built my ASR-5 before they announced the ARC. I would have been tempted to buy the hardtail instead of the ASR-5 and would have missed out on what is, easily, the perfect bike for my riding style and trails.
I live with fear and danger every day. And on the weekends she lets me go mountain biking.

    Love the Bike you're With

Nothing revealed at Sea Otter would make me want to get rid of this yet

I so wanted to get in on the ASR5 frame clearance at Competitive Cyclist, but all the mediums got gobbled up quick. So while I will love my current ride(s), I will be envious of all you Yeti owners.

From your thread title I'd fathom a guess your mind was straying a bit. Don't let your "girl" know this as it will break her eccentric.

When the ASR-7 was discontinued I was riding a 575. I searched for over a year to find a new XL ASR-7. I now have 3 rides with a 7 under me and I couldn't be happier. 2014 bikes are showing up that are carbon, weigh less, new fancy wheel sizes, but I'm having a blast on my 34lb, 26", 3 year old bike.

    heh, not likely.

three gold rings (seat clamp, spacers), some other bling (cables and hoses, chain), and most recently a lovingly hand-built wheelset rooted with King hubs and this gal has no issue knowing that she's got my attention.

I just wish I had more time to ride. This sleep thing is getting inconvenient (as is the job that pays for it all...)

The turquoise chainring bolts are a nice touch. Are those turquoise stickers on the Fox?

    I love my 2006 Yeti AS-X!

I don't use Strava. Don't need an application to tell me I am slow because I already know.

Just took the ASR-5c out after riding primarily my firebird that last couple of months. I almost forgot how ridiculously f*in fast the asr-5 is. With all the new buzz around the SB's, I think people are missing how a good a simple light stiff bike can be

Nicest SB95 that I've seen. I'd rep again but can't lol.

Appropriate thread to post this I think... Absolutely LOVING my 575 with its burlier build... Getting into some light DH lately... Until I can justify a 303, this will have to do
