    Looking to buy ASR7!

I currently own a sweet Carbon Nomad that im forced to sell...I simply need the money! I want a 7 as a replacement! Based on what I have seen I can profit $2-2500! My question is, has anyone ridden both a Nomad and a ASR7? Is it a night and day difference in feel? How do they compare in both climbing and descending??? I have several people chomping at the bit for my Nomad so, if anyone here wants to sell a 7 to upgrade to one of the SB bikes, let me know what you have in a med/large 7!!!

    Thanks for any help! Tim...

Stomping your local trails on a Yeti with an additional two grand in your pocket is a no-brainer.
Drop the SC, and pick up a 7. You won't regret it.
I'd hit it, but I bruise like a peach.

The Nomad WILL sell...Now I just need to find a taken care of 7! Not sure what size would best fit me? I'm 6-2 but the medium 7 is almost identical in #s as my large Nomad! SCs are known to run small and Yetis on the bigger side!

Evidently I don't have enough posts to send PMs. The frame is a lightly ridden 09. Size Medium, color turquoise with an RP 23. Pics to follow via text after coffee.

That Nomad is tits. I really want a 7, but I would have a hard time getting rid of the Nomad even if you did make some money.

Thanks! Its tough to let go but getting into a house is more important to me rite now! Also, based on what I have read about the 7, I will still have a sweet bike to ride! My 2 concerns is 1- the single pivot action versus the VPP! 2- the higher standover, not being able to get real low and back on the DH stuff! The ride will tell!

The ASR-7 is simply an amazing bike! I love this thing and cant understand why its so underated? Stand over height? Frame weight? It doesnt have some fancy multi link? Sorry SB dudes but the 7 kills the 66! (demoed one for a week!)I have so much more fun on this than I ever did on my carbon Nomad! This rear end simply floats over everything where the VPP & SB got hung up on square edge bumps! It is a snappy bike that feels light and jumps well! It amazes me how cheap people are selling these frames for on Pinkbike! More motivation to keep mine!

Sweet. Sounds like things really worked out. I may end up looking at a 7 after reading all this. Currently still have a Transition Preston for that type of riding.
