    Infinity link durability

I want to buy a SB5, but being a bigger guy, around 215 in fighting shape, and I enjoy the occasional rock or root drop, I am concerned about the durability of the new infinity link. I've read all of the reviews and spoken with the local shop, they were super helpful. From everything they have said and what I have read, this thing has been extensively tested and I shouldn't worry about it lasting. But, dropping this much coin, I am concerned about it lasting and not needing to be in the shop for repairs. I know nothing is certain, but wondered if anyone out there had read, experienced, or word of mouth about durability concerns or if anyone knows if they will warranty the bearings etc that make up the infinity link. Thanks in advance

I think the warranty is a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the SB5c frame. Probably not enough time out in the real world to get data about reliability, though the company touts the reliability of the test mule.

Based upon the abuse my SB95 (since June 2012) has seen I'd not worry about the SI, seriously.

I've ridden this thing on everything short of dedicated DH/FR trail.

I've been running in the 220# range most of the life of the bike.

The only thing I've done to the frame is change some of the bearings, but that's to be expected.
