    Hammerschmidt and ASR7 suspension question

I've decided to give a hammerschmidt am a chance on my new ASR7 build. I've been reading that some suspension designs have problems with 22t rings disrupting the suspension. This is only an issue sometimes on traditional double/triple chainring bikes. However regardless of the gear ratio the hammerschmidt is always using the 22t.

So does anyone notice any chang in suspention performance when using granny gear or hammerschmidt cranks?

I dug this up because I would like to run an Hammerschmidt FR setup on my 7, so anyone out there have any insight. Also Per SRAM the Hammerschmidt requires facing of the BB, has anyone here done this?
